Yes! Almost all of our members had no experience at first. Yet with dedication and training, they’ve become amazing athletes. We’ll help you get there too.

All you need are athletic clothes that you feel comfortable exercising in and a water bottle. We’ve got the rest covered.

You might be nervous about your first class. That’s perfectly normal! As soon as you see how kind and welcoming the instructors and other members are – that nervousness turns into excitement.

No matter your fitness level, you can train here. It’s a group environment, but every one of us is on our own unique journey. You can go at your own pace. Some advance faster, others slower. That’s okay.

What’s important is that you’re having fun, challenging yourself, making friends, and growing stronger inside and out.

The coordination, strength, and speed comes with time – even in those who are not ‘natural athletes’!

Yes—Martial Arts can be a powerful tool for managing symptoms of ADD/ADHD. Our training helps improve focus, self-discipline, and impulse control through structured, goal-oriented activities. The physical movement and mental engagement required in every class keep the mind active and the body grounded, which can be especially beneficial for those with attention-related challenges.

Many of our members have seen improvements in their ability to concentrate, stay calm under pressure, and build lasting habits—both on and off the mats. While Martial Arts isn’t a medical treatment, it can be a highly effective complement to other forms of support.

Our instructors are caring and attentive to every member’s concerns. Suffering from lower back pain, neck & shoulder pain, joint stiffness, or muscle weakness will likely not prevent you from having a fun, fulfilling class.

We’re not medical professionals, so any serious concerns should be discussed with your doctor first– but we are typically able to give you alternate exercises that don’t affect pre-existing injuries and honour your limits so you still have a great experience.
